History of MINI

 

MINI has first been produced in 1959 and became a cult car symbol in sixties. From fifties until 1999 except for minor changes for 40 years it has been produced more or less as the same model. It has been regarded as the most attractive car model following Ford Model-T'. It also has models produced as pick-up, off-road and combo wagoner. The original factory is in Oxford-England. The design of the car is made by Alec Issigonis.
 

MINI brand belongs to BMW group. In 2001 BMW has developed a completely new second generation and this model has become one of the most successful retro design cars.
 

The brands third generation model has been launched globally in 2006.
